Beaver Scouts are where the Scouting adventure begins for children aged 6 to 8. Beavers are curious and full of energy. They love to explore, try new things, and take on bigger challenges while keeping their sense of fun and wonder. From campfire cooking to treasure hunts, every adventure is shared with friends in their Colony.

Beavers meet regularly for fun activities and also go on special trips and sleepovers that create lasting memories. Our volunteer leaders work closely with the children to help them learn by doing, think about what they’ve discovered, and take on new responsibilities at their own pace.

Instead of strict rules, Beavers learn about the Scout Law through stories, games, and teamwork. This helps them understand what it means to be kind, honest, and part of something bigger. Every Beaver has their own journey filled with learning, growth, and fun!

The Colony programme includes everything needed for badges and awards, designed to suit different interests and abilities — from outdoor adventures and global awareness to practical skills, teamwork, and personal growth.
