Scout Troops bring out the best in young people aged 10 to 14. This is where Scouting gets exciting — and seriously fun! Scouts are ready for bigger challenges that build their skills, confidence, and teamwork both indoors and outdoors. They jump into adventure with enthusiasm, whether they’re climbing rocks, helping in the community, or learning survival skills.
Scouts live by their Promise, always trying their best to help others and follow the Scout Law. This Law guides them to be trustworthy and loyal, to show kindness and friendship, to be brave when things get tough, to use their time and skills wisely, and to respect themselves and others. They also take pride in being part of the worldwide Scout family.
The Scout programme is built through teamwork between volunteer leaders and the Scouts themselves. It encourages young people to learn by doing, reflect on their experiences, and take real responsibility as they make decisions and set goals. This way of learning helps every Scout grow in confidence and discover their passions while staying safe and supported.
Scouts can earn a wide range of badges and awards during their time in the Troop, covering everything from outdoor adventures to creative projects and leadership skills.
